I’m the last guy you’d expect to find writing novels – much less romance novels. For forty years I built custom homes and developed land in Dallas, Texas. Blissfully happy, I planned to build and develop for the rest of my life. God had other plans.

Since I was twenty I’ve battled Multiple Sclerosis. Though I managed my MS well, a nasty fall in 2019 took me off the jobsite, out of the dirt, and confined me to a wheelchair full-time. Mad, I wrestled God for the security and familiarity of a business I knew so well. My next two years were shrouded in darkness. Life was over – if I couldn’t have life on my terms, I didn’t want it at all.

Out of sordid desperation I asked God what His plan was for me during this new chapter in my life. He invaded me with hope and planted a deep desire to write the story of the Axeworth family. Though I’d written extensively within my industry, sticks, bricks, and lots of dirt hardly make for good love stories, so once again I trusted His judgement.

Turning this colorful cast of make-believe characters, their life experiences and extremely relatable stories into romance novels has become my passion. The world in which we live is a cesspool, so telling clean stories that inspire the faith of many has become my mission. I hope you’ll enjoy reading about the Axeworth’s lives, struggles, and triumphs in the Found by Love series!
